Tiffany was a lovely 27 year old Christian girl. After a car accident in the summer of 2000 she was prescribed several addictive pain medications.

Eventually she built up a tolerance to the prescribed doses of these medications. Tiffany also developed an addiction to laxatives. Over the next three years she suffered the shame of these addictions. She made several unsuccessful attempts to detox from these drugs. She wrote in her journal “Will I ever be able to conquer my demons? Will I ever get to the point in my life that I am not at war with my body? She lost her life because of an accidental overdose. This could happen to anyone. It doesn't have to end this way.
Tiffany dreamed of one day recovering from this addiction and helping others like herself. The Bridge to Recovery is sponsoring a Tea to educate the community on what addiction can do to the addict and the family and to let them know about the help that is available. Tiffany’s mother Linda Chapman will be sharing her experience, strength, and hope at this Tea. This information could save a life or two.
