More information on The Bridge to Recovery & proceeds of the tournament:
The Bridge to Recovery is a nonprofit 501c3 established in 1972, and since then has been providing healing to individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, and many compulsive and negative behavior patterns (including love, sex, intimacy, and relationship issues; caretaking & control; anger & rage; workaholism; and many more). Additionally, we work with those individuals struggling with family enmeshment, codependency, and multi-generational family systems issues (such as substance or sex addiction within the family, family secrets & shame, family abuse and/or neglect, etc.).
Our residential program located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, allows individuals to stay for a minimum of 2 weeks, but up to 12 weeks or longer based on need. Because we are a nonprofit, we are able to keep costs extremely reasonable and affordable, however fees for services only cover minimal expenses The Bridge incurs. Additionally, many families sending loved ones to our program find themselves financially depleted from so many attempts to find healing, or from the ravages of these negative behavior patterns. The Bridge is able to survive through gracious in-kind gifts and through events such as this golf tournament, as well as provide discounts to families in need of our services.
