Registering for Our Residential Workshop

Registering for one of our upcoming start dates is a straightforward process; you can refer to our Admissions Start Date Calendar for details. Feel free to reach out to us via phone for more information about our program. We're here to address any questions you might have, and you can share as much or as little information as you're comfortable with.

If you've decided that our program aligns with your needs, the next step is to complete our over-the-phone pre-screen.

Note: Individuals feeling uncertain about their decision may opt for the over-the-phone pre-screen, a valuable tool to uncover concerns and explore how The Bridge can assist.

Understanding Our Over-the-Phone Pre-screen

This confidential and non-committal pre-screen provides crucial information to ensure we are the best fit for you. It typically takes 45 minutes to an hour and can be scheduled during the day or evening, catering to your convenience. You'll discuss your situation with a member of our small admissions team, not a generic call center.

After completing the pre-screen, our admissions team collaborates with our clinical team to confirm the program's suitability for your needs. Once confirmed, our admissions team will guide you through the next steps.

The Bridge to Recovery boasts a distinctive admit process centered around creating a safe environment for clients. Workshops commence every other Monday, allowing up to 10 clients (both male and female) to join the rotation. This process ensures group cohesion, fostering a supportive environment and strong bonds among members. By limiting admissions to specific days, clients experience a stable and secure workshop process, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the program.

What we help with

Enhancing Your Experience at
The Bridge to Recovery

We acknowledge and respect the significant commitments you've made to be a part of The Bridge. Whether it's time away from your family, your professional responsibilities, or the financial sacrifices you've made, we value and honor your dedication. In light of this, we've designed a comprehensive and intensive program to make the most of your stay, ensuring every moment contributes to understanding your underlying issues.

We’ve dedicated an entire section of our website to elucidate our unique Group Process. Our firm belief is that the way we conduct group sessions at The Bridge creates an optimal healing environment. We encourage you to explore this aspect further to grasp the depth and effectiveness of our approach.

Frequently Asked Question: What are our communication guidelines? Here’s a breakdown:

  • During the initial 7 days, clients can send and receive mail.
  • After the first week, clients gain access to a client-specific phone line for communication with friends and loved ones.
  • To ensure fairness, we kindly request that phone calls be limited to 10 minutes, respecting the needs of other clients.
  • While care packages are welcomed, we ask that they exclude food or drinks.

We understand the challenges of leaving your familiar surroundings, including home, family, job, and daily obligations. Yet, our communication guidelines have proven successful for several reasons:

  • Restricting excessive outside communication allows clients to concentrate fully on their transformative work at The Bridge.
  • By minimizing external “noise” (bills, family responsibilities, electronic distractions, media consumption), we enable you to focus entirely on your personal growth during the program.

Operating consistently every day, including holidays, The Bridge adheres to a regular schedule, with potential adjustments for specific group activities during holidays. While your stay is packed with meaningful experiences, we also allocate time in the schedule for physical activity, self-care, and rest, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching program.

Graduation from Our Program

Clients often experience mixed emotions upon completing our program, including joy, relief, excitement, and understandable trepidation about the post-program phase. At The Bridge, our Alumni & Aftercare Team plays a pivotal role in providing ongoing support, ensuring a smooth transition to life after our program.

Our aftercare team engages with graduating clients to ensure a holistic and sustained recovery. In this meeting, they:

  • Assist in setting up aftercare appointments essential for maintaining long-term recovery, including sessions with therapists.
  • Provide referrals for ongoing recovery support.
  • Discuss our Alumni Program, detailing how it can be a valuable resource during the transition home.
  • Evaluate the client’s living situation upon return home (if applicable) and explore healthy support options for both family and individual recovery health.

Clients have the unique opportunity to participate in a graduation ceremony tailored to our program, celebrating not only the completion of the program but the initiation of their recovery journey. This memorable experience involves active participation from both clients and clinicians, creating lasting memories for many participants.

Our commitment to fostering a supportive and connected experience post-Bridge significantly contributes to a positive transition home. Clients who have completed our program can:

  • Attend Alumni Program events.
  • Join weekly virtual Alumni meetings.
  • Connect with fellow Alumni in their local area.
  • Utilize our alumni team for referrals and outreach to other professionals.
  • Provide consent for our team to share progress with their recovery team (such as a therapist) to continue their healing journey.
  • Receive ongoing communications from our alumni department as a supportive element in their recovery.

We understand that you may have numerous questions about what to expect during your time at The Bridge. Our Admissions Specialists are dedicated to taking the time needed to thoroughly address your inquiries during the admissions process, ensuring a smooth and informed journey ahead.
