The Bridge to Recovery offers care for the helpers.
For nearly a decade, The Bridge to Recovery has offered workshops geared toward helping the behavioral health professional. This includes:
We often get calls from professionals inquiring about our intensive workshop wondering if they fit into the behavioral health category.
If you are a helper, healer, or care worker – this program is for you!
We have helped professionals through this intensive from the following areas:
This program honors the reputation and success of our 50-year-old program, but condenses it into 7-days for behavioral health professionals, focusing on key components pertinent to this population.
The week-long program allows the professional to focus on their own healing in a peaceful and safe setting, free from professional duties or dual roles.
We offer this program throughout the year. Our goal is to provide 6-8 of these intensives, often every month or every-other month to make it convenient to find one that fits your schedule
These programs often fill quickly, so we encourage you to call ahead of time to learn about upcoming program dates.
We keep our professional groups small, ideally at 5-8 participants.
The small group size creates the effectiveness provided by the group process while still intimate that participants can make significant process in the week-long intensive.
We utilize our quaint Cannon Cabin for our professionals’ intensives, situated on 115 acres of rural, rolling green hills in Kentucky.
The property at The Bridge to Recovery has become known as a healing sanctuary for those in need.
It can be scary to think about diving into our own work. That was a huge piece in the development of our professionals’ intensives. All of intensives are handled with the upmost care in regards to confidentiality. We have helped hundreds of industry professionals, protecting their experiences as if they were our very own.
We do not allow participants who know each other to complete the same intensive; and, we do not allow participants working together at the same program to complete the same intensive.
Like our core program, our mission has never been a money-making venture. Our mission has always been to help those in need experience healing. We also want to honor those who serve the same mission so that our profession is full of emotionally healthy, recovery-oriented folks. Because of that, we work to keep our costs affordable, including for these intensives.
We offer this program to professionals at a rate of $2,500 for the full 7-day intensive, which includes ALL food, lodging, and the clinical program.

The Bridge to Recovery hires Butch Glover as the new Executive Director
“ Honestly the Bridge taught me something I already knew but had to remember. I am so damn special, valid, and important. Everyone in my life saw it, but me. The Bridge just showed me how to look in the mirror to see for myself. ”
